Yes. As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, we’re taking action to better serve you and our associates. We’ve temporarily updated our Return Policy, effective immediately.

KDTRADING Return Policy Update:

  • We’re extending our return policy on all items purchased on March 14, 2020 onwards. These items are eligible for an additional 30 days above our typical guidelines.
  • Other temporary changes:
    • We’re not accepting bulk returns of more than 3 of the same item.
We’re not accepting returns for any of the following items and any of these items purchased after June 1, 2020 will be final sale: Headphones & earphones – Air mattresses & sleeping bags – Items without a receipt
    • We’re accepting returns on opened packages/boxes again.
  • All merchandise may be refunded or exchanged within 120 days, providing the receipt accompanies the product, except for the following:

If I buy something from KDTRADING, can I return it?
Yes (with just a few exceptions). We know that sometimes you buy something that doesn’t work out the way you had hoped and for that reason we did our best to make a return policy that is helpful for you. Our return policy is the same for both online and in store purchases with just a few minor differences: • Online purchases: the return timeframe begins on the date of your order’s arrival. • In store purchases: the return timeframe begins on the purchase date. Make sure to bring along your proof of purchase. Almost anything you buy from KDTrading can be returned within 90 days with the exception of a few items below. Exceptions There are a few exceptions you should know about, which are listed below: Within 3 days Computers, tablets, laptops, monitors, printers, camcorders, digital cameras, GPS units, wearable tech, video game consoles & handhelds, video games, computer games, and wireless prepaid phones. What about children’s clothing and groceries? Can I return those products as well?
Absolutely! We want you to love what you bought, so we offer the following satisfaction guarantees for children’s clothing, exclusive brands to Kdtrading Canada, as well as produce, meat, and seafood with the following exceptions: • Receipt is required • Children’s clothing & footwear (excluding accessories) o Clothing applies to sizes 0 – 16 o Footwear Pre-walk / Toddler (sizes 0 – 10) and Youth (Boys sizes 11 – 13, 1 – 6 / Girls sizes 11 – 13, 1 – 4). o Children’s clothing and footwear can be exchanged if worn out before the child outgrew the item. Replacement will be of identical item or suitable substitute of equal size and price. • Produce, Bakery, Deli, Meat & Seafood – No time limit o Please note that for Grocery Delivery orders, online refund requests are only available for three days after the delivery date. • Exclusive Kdtraing Brands – No time limit with exception of ONN / Black Web merchandise which has a 1 year guarantee from date of purchase on receipt.  


What is the return policy for third party items?
In-store returns eligibility Items sold by third party sellers with a retail price of $150.00 CAD and below can be returned to any KDTrading store, subject to the exceptions listed below. If you wish to return items with a retail price above $150.00 CAD, please reach out to the third party seller directly. For third party items related to the categories listed below, contact the seller directly. These items will not be accepted in stores.
  • Outdoor fuel-powered equipment
  • Dangerous goods (i.e. hazardous materials containing chemicals, compressed gas or liquids which could pose a health or safety risk, etc)
  • Oversized items (i.e. full-sized mattresses, large appliances, items weighing over 100 pounds, etc)
Please note, third party items returned to a KDTrading store must include all original packaging and materials as well as the order number. Return window Most third party sellers have a minimum return window of 30 days from the date of delivery, with the exception of certain electronics items. The following items will have a minimum return window of 14 days from the date of delivery:

Can I return something I bought from KDtrading.ca?
Sure thing! Just like shopping at a K&D Trading store, you can return almost anything you buy from our website. You can see the return options for your purchase in the Order Details page of your account, and if you checked out as a guest, you can find the return period for the item in the digital receipt, which is sent via email when your order ships. Before making a return, check our Return Policy to make sure the product is eligible. Good to know: Along with the product, we will also refund any tax and environmental fee. We will also refund any associated shipping charge for defective products, or if you received the wrong item. Please know that we will not refund shipping charges if the return is due to “Buyer’s Remorse”, or in other words, if you change mind about your purchase. Online Purchases from Third Party Sellers


How do I return something I bought online?
here are two easy ways to return an online purchase:
  • Return any purchase to a KDtrading store
    • OR
  • Return online purchases by mail
Returning an online purchase by mail is the easiest way to return a large or heavy item. Returning an online purchase is fast and easy, and you can get the ball rolling from your own home:
  1. Log in to your KDtrading.ca account
  2. Choose the order from which you’d like to return an item, and click “Manage order”
  3. In the “Order Information” box, click “Return items”
  4. Choose whether you’d like to return a few individual items, or if you’d like to return everything in the order. Once you’ve selected the item(s) you’d like to return, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Continue”.
  5. You’ll have the option to return these items to a store, or return your items by mail. Once you select your return method and click “Continue”, you’ll see instructions for how to complete the return process.
Good to know: If you decide to return something by mail, you can usually drop the item into any Canada Post mailbox. Larger items will be eligible for a “call tag”, which means someone will come to your house to pick up the item. In this case, the carrier will call you to arrange a pickup time. And one more thing — if you choose to return your purchase by mail, we’ll cover the shipping cost.
What if I don’t have an account? Can I still return my purchase by mail?
Of course! If you placed an order without an account, simply create a new account and attach your order. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Heads up: if you’re creating a new account with the intention of attaching an order, make sure to use the same email address you used to place your order.
  1. Create a kdtrading.ca account
  2. Once you’re in your account, enter your order number in the section “Add a recent order”
  3. To return any items, follow the steps above for returning online purchases
And you’re done! Along with being able to return items, having an account will allow you to save your orders in your order history for future reference, track the progress of any future orders, and print your shipping receipt.


What if I want to return an item that I used my KDtrading gift card to pay for?

Please hold on to your KDTrading gift card until you receive your item and know you’re happy with it. In the event that you’d like to return an item that you used a KDTrading gift card to pay for, you can make an in-store or online return and the refund will go back to the same gift card, which you can use for future purchases.

If you’ve already disposed of your KDTrading gift card, you can return your item at your local KDTrading store and an associate will provide you with a new gift card with the refunded amount. If you’re not able to return your item at a Walmart store, please contact our Customer Service team.

How do I submit a refund request for a grocery item?
We’re sorry if you experienced an issue with your recent online grocery order! Follow these simple steps below to submit a refund request. Registered customers — If you have a Kdtrading.ca account and your delivery was within 3 days, there’s an easy way to request a refund for an item. Please follow steps 1 to 5 below. Guest customers – If you don’t have a Kdtrading.ca account and checked out as a guest, please create an account. Once you’ve registered your account, you can easily submit a refund request using steps 1 to 5 below.
  1. Sign in to your Kdtrading.ca account.
  2. Select the order  from which you’d like to request an item for refund and click “Order History”.
  3. Select “Request refund” under the Order Information area.
  4. Choose the item(s) you’d like to request a refund for and select the reason for return.
  5. Once you have selected “Continue,” your refund request has been submitted. You’ll receive an email from us confirming your refund request has been received. Within 48 hours our Customer Service team will review the request and, if approved, send a final refund confirmation at which time a credit can be issued to your original method of payment. Once the refund is applied, the funds will appear in your account between 3 to 5 business days, depending on your financial institution. Please note, if purchases were made in part using an eVoucher or promo code, we are unable to refund or reapply the eVoucher or promo code.
We offer this process as a faster way for you to request a refund. However, in some instances, further validation may be required and we will ask you to reach out to our Customer Service team for a refund.

Can I return something I bought at a KDTrading store?
YOf course! You can return almost anything you buy at one of our stores. But before you do, check our Return Policy to make sure the product is eligible. Bring the item you wish to return along with all original accessories, packaging and your receipt to a store.


Redeeming a warranty

Is my product covered under a manufacturer's warranty?
A limited manufacturer’s warranty is included free for certain categories of products, and may include an option to extend coverage up to 3 more years. When available on a specific product, extended coverage includes 100% of repair or replacement costs, including shipping costs for the exchange. If you order extended warranties, you will receive information about fulfilling your warranty in a separate email, after the warranted item ships.


How do I make a claim against my manufacturer's warranty?
If something happens to your product and it is still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, you can contact the manufacturer to make the claim. Their contact information should be included in the packaging, but if you can’t find it, or if you need any help making this claim, contact us and we will gladly help you in any way we can.


Will my product be fixed, replaced, or refunded?
On a per claim basis, the Cardholder is entitled to receive from the Plan Provider the least of the following benefits:
  • the cost of repairs;
  • the actual cash value of the purchased item immediately prior to the loss;
  • the replacement cost of the purchased item; or
  • the purchase price of the purchase item.
